Maggie Q Finds The Three Kingdoms

When she’s finished trying to hack America and facing off against Bruce Willis on the set of Live Free Of Die Hard, Maggie Q will report for duty in Three Kingdoms: Resurrection Of The Dragon.

She’s starring with Andy Lau in the epic, which is based on Romance Of The Three Kingdoms, an 800 year-old novel by Luo Guangzhong, which also happens to be the source material for John Woo’s Battle Of Red Cliff.

One Armed Swordsman director Daniel Lee is directing, with a budget of $25 million to spend and location shoots set for next March in China. Martial arts legend Sammo Hung is action choreographer and the movie will apparently boast 40,000 extras, twice that of the Lord Of The Rings films. Show offs.
