It’s a good week for actresses who have appeared on US comedy drama Californication nabbing film roles. With Addison Timlin already in serious consideration for Stephen Sommers’ supernatural thriller Odd Thomas, now comes word that show veteran Madeline Zima has won the lead in Matt Winn’s Storage.

The claustrophobic-sounding thriller follows what happens to a young woman (Zima) who becomes trapped in an underground Storage facility alongside a group of strangers. Because good things rarely happen in those sort of situations, we’re going to guess events go seriously downhill from there.

"This script is a real page turner with great characters,” executive producer Gareth Jones tells the Hollywood Reporter. “Matt's vision will create an intelligent and tense thriller that will keep audiences guessing till the end."

**January 2nd **director Winn wrote the screenplay with Chris Denne and plans to start directing the film shortly. Zima got her cinematic start in The Hand That Rocks The Cradle and has been seen in the likes of A Cinderella Story and The Collector.
