Macy The Superhero

William H. Macy, who received an Ocsar nomination for his role as scheming car salesman Jerry Lundegaard in the Coen Brothers' Fargo, is in final negotiations to join the cast of Mystery Men, the new movie from Universal about some not-so-super superheroes. Kinka Usher is directing the movie. Macy is set to play The Shoveller, who uses a shovel to fight and right wrongs but is treated with open contempt by his children at home. Previously the part was thought to have been going to Ving Rhames. And the two actors look so similar, too.
