Hooray for William H Macy and his eclectic choice of starring roles! With his other half (that’s Felicity Huffman to you and me) bringing in the cash on that show about Housewives who are Desperate, Macy has the time and the luxury to do what he clearly enjoys: picking and choosing his roles.
His latest choice might surprise some: he’s joined the cast of the new Re-Animator movie.
House Of Re-Animator, which will be made by the classic Re-team of director Stuart Gordon, writer Dennis Paoli and producer Stuart Gordon, sees Macy as a US President (not unlike the one in office now) dying on the job. The staff drafts Dr Herbert West (Re-Animator stalwart Jeffrey Combs) to bring him back to life. Cue madness, death, blood and perversion, AKA everything we love about the Re-Animator movies.
