Will Smith and director David Ayer are reuniting after Suicide Squad for the Max Landis-scripted fantasy thriller Bright. It's coming together quickly and now Lucy Fry has joined the cast.

Landis' original concept blends fantasy mythology with End Of Watch-style cop action, as Smith and Joel Edgerton are playing a human and an orc who must outrun the authorities, criminals and a variety of supernatural beings to protect a powerful magic wand. Now we know that Fry will be Tikka, a young elf with her own magical abilities who comes into possession of the wand and needs the leads' help when dark forces try to hunt her down.

Bright's cast also already includes Noomi Rapace, and Ayer should have the cameras rolling later this month in Los Angeles for a Netflix release next year. Fry was mostly recently seen in two Greg McLean projects – the Wolf Creek miniseries based on his horror movie, and his latest big screen chiller The Darkness.
