Yesterday we passed on the hot and scintillating news that Madonna's baby Lourdes was rumoured to have a place booked on the waiting list for Cheltenham Ladies' College, purveyors of education to rich gentlefolk. But Madonna's spokeswoman, Liz Rosenberg, yesterday told the New York Daily News, "It's not true. She hasn't applied to the school. It's not the kind of place where she'd send Lourdes." She also denied reports that Madonna plans to move permanently to London.
