A Life On The Ocean Wave

Vin Diesel takes to the sea

Having already covered street-racing, sky-diving and deep space, Vin Diesel will be getting his sea legs for his next project, nautical thriller, Dreadnaught. Directed by Swordfish and Gone In 60 Seconds' Dominic Sena, the film has been described as 'a David and Goliath dual at sea', though if you've seen the size of Vin's arms lately, you'd be hard-pressed to see him as a David, even a buffed up naval one. The film pits the captain of the most hi-tech warship ever built against his commanding officer while out upon the waves. No details were confirmed but we reckon it's safe to say that Diesel will be wearing the Captain's bars once the ship hauls anchor. Filming on Dreadnaught is scheduled to begin when Diesel completes work on The Chronicles of Riddick this autumn.
