After months of speculation, it has been confirmed that teen heart-throb Leonardo DiCaprio won't be playing the sadistic serial killer in Lions Gate Films' American Psycho after all. Prior to DiCaprio's involvement, the film had a modest $10 million budget - half the $20 million fee rumoured to have been offered to DiCaprio to play the lead. Now the baby-faced star has definitely passed, the project's budget has been slashed and is now likely to be recast from scratch.
