While live-action Batman debuts some fabulous new outfits, cartoon Batman is ploughing a blocky little furrow of his own. The Lego Batman Movie is nearing the horizon, and a new poster has now arrived.

Featuring, surely, an early frontrunner for tagline of the year, the new one-sheet is resplendent in the Caped Crusader’s signature black-and-yellow colour scheme, and features a bricked Gotham City beneath the fluttering cape of Bats.

Having very much stolen the show in The Lego Movie back in 2014, Will Arnett is returning to voice the gravelly-voiced Dark Knight, and he’s bringing along a stonkingly brilliant voice cast which includes Ralph Fiennes, Zach Galifianakis, Michael Cera, and Rosario Dawson.

The first trailer arrived at Comic-Con earlier this year, and as sure as day follows night, trailer usually follows poster, so here’s hoping we see some more footage from the diminutive hero soon. The Lego Batman Movie arrives in cinemas on 10 February, 2017.
