Francis Lawrence, the director of **Constantine **and the upcoming I Am Legend, is keeping it mythological but skewing younger with his next film, Snow And The Seven.

The live-action film is set in 19th century Hong Kong, where a young British girl realises that it is her destiny to fight a mysterious evil force, and is trained to that end by seven Shaolin monks.

The film's been in development for ages, and has already seen the original script (by Josh Harmon and Scott Elder) rewritten by Scott Moore and Jon Lucas. Legendary fight choreographer Yuen Woo-Ping has already signed up to co-ordinate the fight scenes.

We'll keep an eye out for more news as it comes - but beware! The studio has stressed that the title is a working title only and may change, so some detective skills may be needed.
