According to the Hollywood Reporter, the pair are apparently close to signing up for Steven Spielberg's A.I. (Artificial Intelligence), the project formerly belonging to the late great Stanley Kubrick.
Apparently young Osment, who spent the post-show parties schmoozing with his idol Kevin Spacey, has even been recruiting for the part of his on-screen mom. Julianne Moore, his favoured mater, is sadly committed to other projects. A.I., which Spielberg finally committed to last month, is a future-set drama concerning HAL 9000-like smart robots.
