Laika – the company that brought us Coraline, Paranorman and The Boxtrolls – is going all out to remind us that its latest stop-motion animated adventure, Kubo And The Two Strings is now on the way. There have been several trailers, and here comes the next offering.

While there's a worry that you could have seen the whole movie by the time it actually comes out, the Kubo marketeers have thus far managed to focus on certain elements – Kubo (played by Art Parkinson) and his Scott Pilgrim-alike blend of magical musical abilities, Monkey (Charlize Theron). the grumpy comrade conjured up by his mother to guide him on his mission and Beetle (Matthew McConaughey), a warrior who talks a good game but doesn't seem to be able to deliver all the time.

The story follows Kubo, who lives quietly telling fantastical stories to people in his seaside town. But when he accidentally summons a mythical, ancient spirit that is pursuing an age-old vendetta and destroys his village, he has to go on the run. Let's hope he also learns how to zigzag (deep cut Game Of Thrones joke FTW).

Rooney Mara, Ralph Fiennes and George Takei are among the rest of the voice cast for this one, which will hit the UK on September 9.
