We might be resisting the pressure to always write Insurgent’s title as The Divergent Series: Insurgent (we’ll meet you at TDS: Insurgent, final offer), but the Divergent sequel is headed our way regardless. We’ve already been treated to a veritable parade of character posters (see those lurking lower down the page) and now here comes what is described as the final one-sheet for the movie, which arrives via MTV.
From the looks of this, the Divergent team really likes the shattering glass theme and the gravity-shifting nature of the teaser trailer is evident once again as Shailene Woodley’s Tris appears to be either falling or floating as she shoots.
This time, she’s on the run in future Chicago as she and Four (Theo James) evade the power-hungry Erudite leader Jeanine (Kate Winslet). They’ll have to track down what Tris’ family gave their lives to protect, and Tris must face up to her choices as she unlocks the truth about the past and the future of their world. With Robert Schwentke directing this time out, and Octavia Spencer, Jai Courtney, Ray Stevenson, Zoë Kravitz, Miles Teller, Ansel Elgort, Maggie Q, Mekhi Phifer and Naomi Watts all aboard, the film lands on March 20.
