With Dave Bautista reaching the action-hero-meets-cute-kid stage of his career with new comedy My Spy, the cast around him has begun to grow. And the latest addition is Kristen Schaal.

Peter Segal is directing the film right now in Toronto, working from a script by Jon and Erich Hoeber. Bautista will play a hardened CIA operative sent undercover to watch a family, only to find himself at the mercy of a nine-year-old girl.

The cast for this one also includes Ken Jeong, Parisa Fitz-Henley and Chloe Coleman, and the movie should be out next year. Schaal regularly adds her voice to cartoon series Bob's Burgers and has just landed the lead in an untitled new sitcom. She'll also be back as the voice of Trixie for Toy Story 4, due on 21 June next year.
