Ladies and gentlemen, it's the return of Peter Jackson, and there ain't a hobbit in sight. By the looks of this trailer, King Kong, his Christmas offering this year, is set to scale the Empire State Building and hang snarling from the top, possibly with a screaming box office record in its iron grip. The film, as everyone must know by now, is a remake of the revolutionary 1933 creature feature wherein a giant ape terrorises New York (and, in fairness, New York terrifies a giant ape). The original plot line is pretty much all present and correct here
