If they gave out awards for opening credits, The Kingdom would be a shoo-in this year. The Peter Berg directed action thriller, about an FBI team investigating a bombing in Saudi Arabia, opens in October and stars Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Garner, Jason Bateman, Chris Cooper and Ashraf Barhoum.
These opening credits provide a neat little potted history of Saudi Arabia, and wider East-West relations, that basically set up the background you need for the plot to come. Also, they look nifty.
