Hope she knows how to swim… The Manchurian Candidate's Kimberly Elise has joined Terrence Howard in Lionsgate’s previously announced sports drama PDR.
Music video director Sunu Gonera has signed on to call the shots on the film, which will see Howard playing inspirational Philadelphia swimming coach Jim Ellis. He was responsible for fixing up an abandoned pool in one of the city’s roughest boroughs and recruited African-American kids for a team that eventually won the state championship.
