Some good news for all of us who are staying at home during the Coronavirus emergency, and especially for those who enjoy witty espionage tales: Killing Eve will return to our screens earlier than planned, and there's a new teaser online too.

And unlike previous years, when the States got the show months in advance of the UK, the series is moving to a schedule more like that of The Walking Dead, where episodes will start airing Sundays in the States from 12 April (on AMC and BBC America), while the UK will see them from Monday 13 April via BBC One.

The new season will pick up where the second left off, with Villanelle (Jodie Comer) believing Eve (Sandra Oh) is dead after she shot her. But Eve is instead hiding in plain sight, and of course their weird dynamic will continue...

Harriet Walter, Danny Sapani, Gemma Whelan, Camille Cottin, Steve Pemberton, Raj Bajaj, Turlough Convery, Pedja Bjelac and Evgenia Dodina are all joining the regulars, which include Fiona Shaw, Kim Bodnia, Sean Delaney and Owen McDonnell. And Suzanne Heathcote, a veteran of Dead spin-off Fear The Walking Dead takes over the show-running baton from Emerald Fennell.
