Anthology films – particularly in the terror genre – continue to prosper, and yet another one is headed our way. Prepare yourself for Holidays, which will feature contributions from Kevin Smith, Gary Shore, Matt Johnson, Scott Stewart, Nick McCarthy, Dennis Widmyer and Kevin Kolsch, Sarah Smith and Anthony Scott Burns, among others.

It’s all being put together by XYZ films and Distant Corners Entertainment, who have rounded up both the names and the money to get the various shorts made. More directors and a cast list will be announced soon.

So far, all we know is that Smith – who has at least one Christmas-themed horror in development already with **Anti-Claus – will be switching instead to a Halloween tale, as he announced via Twitter. The rest of the tales are still under wraps.

I'm gonna ruin your HOLIDAYS: HOLIDAYS is an [@XYZFilms](https://twitter.com/XYZFilms) horror anthology flick. My sequence is entitled "Hollow Ian." > > — KevinSmith (@ThatKevinSmith) [February 2, 2015](https://twitter.com/ThatKevinSmith/status/562353390936543232)

“Holidays is a great opportunity for some of the most creative and twisted minds in the genre space today to really let loose and have fun,” producer John Hegeman tells Deadline. Given that it’ll touch on Christmas, Easter Halloween, Mother’s Day and more, it’s anyone’s guess as to when it’ll be released.
