Though he’s got a bustling schedule at the moment, Kevin Costner seems intent on adding another project to his list, entering negotiations to star in **Midnight Delivery.

It’s the brainchild of Guillermo del Toro (a man who could practically give lessons in multi-tasking himself) and features a script by Luther / Mama’s Neil Cross that sees a man (Costner) becoming a drug mule in order to save his son’s life.

The story on the film first broke back in 2010 with the word on del Toro and Cross collaborating with Universal. Then in 2011, Game Of Thrones director Brian Kirk was reportedly attached to call the shots, although his name doesn’t appear on any of the current stories.

Costner is busy working on Black And White and will move from that to sports drama McFarland in the autumn. He’s already got Draft Da****y, Three Days To Kill and Jack Ryan in the can, and the latter of those is out here on December 26.
