Steve Carell will be wishing he had a few more degrees of separation from Kevin Bacon – as the actor has signed on to play a man who has an affair with Carell’s wife in his latest comedy.
The currently-untitled film was written by Dan Fogelman and will see I Love You Phillip Morris co-directors John Requa and Glenn Ficarra behind the camera as Carell’s cuckolded husband decides to sort his life out with the help of a cool life coach, played by Ryan Gosling.
Julianne Moore is his unfaithful wife and we reported last month that Emma Stone will be his daughter, which just makes us want to see it all the more.
Requa and Ficarra will start shooting next month.
