Ken Russell is about to start hanging around King’s Cross. Don’t worry – it’s all above board. He’s going to be shooting a thriller called Kings X. And Kevin Spacey, Ray Winstone and Robert Carlyle are along for the ride.
It’s the story of Colin Manks, the self proclaimed “King of King’s Cross”, who rules his turf with an iron hand. He starts a relationship with Essex girl estate agent Hattie, but she’s not exactly what she seems, and soon Colin finds himself under attack from all sides.
With script by Chris Cleverly, Russell will crank his cameras later this year.
