Headed to next month's New York Comic-Con alongside studio stablemate Power Rangers, action sequel John Wick: Chapter 2 promises more of the stunts, punches and bone-crunching we enjoyed the first time around. And, if this teaser poster is to be believed, Keanu Reeves' title character being measured for a new suit. Woe betide anyone who damages it...
Not much is known about the plot of this one, though Reeves has hinted that it'll see Wick's past coming back to haunt him in a big way. As he told Collider: "There’s definitely that influence of the other world, the Continental world, the look, the feel, what it is about the movie, what made people like it; is definitely being paid attention to, and the world opens up in this chapter."
And we can expect more of an international feel, as the movie finds Wick headed to Rome to face off against some particularly nasty types. Ian McShane and Lance Reddick are back for this one, and the cast also includes Common, Laurence Fishburne, John Leguizamo and Ruby Rose. We'd expect to see a trailer around the time the Comic-Con event on October 8 and Chapter 2 will be with us on February 17 next year, just a week after its US debut. So no long wait this time, fortunately...
