With the latest live-action Caped Crusader making a solid debut at the box office in The Batman, Warner Bros. has decided that it's the perfect time to introduce another in a new trailer for DC League Of Super-Pets. And this time, he's voiced by Keanu Reeves.

Yes, the Matrix man is the latest to lend his tonsils to the trademark gruff rasp of Bats, seen here bonding with Ace (voiced by Kevin Hart), who will become the Bat-Hound. That's after, of course, Bruce claims to work alone – before name-checking Robin, Alfred, Commissioner Gordon and a host of others who actually provide back-up.

Super-Pets finds Krypto (Dwayne Johnson), the faithful canine companion to Superman (John Krasinski) having to work alongside a rag-tag group of shelter animals who have been given special powers. Together, they have to rescue the human Justice League from the clutches of Lex Luthor (Marc Maron).

Natasha Lyonne, Vanessa Bayer, Diego Luna, Kate McKinnon, Thomas Middleditch and Ben Schwartz are all in the voice cast for the film, due out on 20 May.
