Katie Holmes has shocked Hollywood by announcing that she is quitting acting in order to be a full-time mum. A friendly neighbourhood source says: "Her decision is raising a lot of eyebrows in Hollywood. She is at the perfect age for so many screen roles and has completely closed the door on a promising career." Holmes had already turned down a number of roles that she and Cruise had decided were unsuitable including Sienna Miller's role in Factory Girl.
