While spending years as Battlestar Galactica's Starbuck might have been enough on-screen space travel for anyone, Katee Sackhoff is hitting the launchpad again. She's the lead in new Netflix sci-fi series Another Life, and a mere couple of days on from a brief teaser, here's the first full trailer.
Aaron Martin created the new show, which was handed a 10-episode first season order by the streaming service. Another Life finds Sackhoff as Niko, an astronaut who leads a crew focused on searching for alien intelligence. When they investigate a newly-discovered artefact in space, they face a terrible danger and the chance that this might be a one-way trip...
Sackhoff has spent the last few years on the more grounded drama series Longmire, which was saved by Netflix after its cancellation by US cable channel A&E. She also recently popped up on TV's The Flash and in the indie sci-fi pic 2036 Origin Unknown.
Another Life crash-lands on Netflix on 25 July.
