Kate’s Screen Snog

Comic Rik Mayall found at least one part of his role in the new Blackadder film to his taste – snogging a supermodel. Mayall stars as Robin Hood in Time For Blackadder, a big-screen version of the popular television series. Playing opposite him as Maid Marian is supermodel Kate Moss. 'I snogged her three times,' says Rik, 'and then asked for another take.' Although this is not the first film for Moss - it does mark her first screen kiss. The thirty-minute film will be screened in the Millennium Dome on New Year’s Eve, as part of the festivities for a party packed with heavyweights from politics and entertainment. The film follows Blackadder, again played by Rowan Atkinson, as he travels through time in a machine built by his trusty sidekick Baldrick. An all-star cast includes Colin Firth, Miranda Ricardson, Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie. Once the bigwigs have seen the movie, mere mortals will be able to see it in the Dome next year. Might even be worth the price of admission.
