January saw not just the dawning of a new year. [It also brought the teaser trailer] for DreamWorks Animation's Trolls, which features the voices (both spoken and singing) of Justin Timberlake and Anna Kendrick. Now here's the full trailer to explain a little more about it...
Timberlake is Branch, a gloomy, isolated member of the community, who is endlessly annoyed by the perky Poppy (Kendrick), a young woman prone to starting sing-alongs and generally being far too happy for his liking.
But when the Bergens – creatures who consider the Trolls to be a delicacy – swipe almost everyone else, it's up to Branch and Poppy to rescue them. Might a stronger bond form between them along the way? We're not giving everything away here, people!
The likes of James Corden, The Big Bang Theory's Kunal Nayar, Gwen Stefani and Russell Brand are also in the cast, and the director is Shrek Forever After's Mike Mitchell. Trolls will be colorfully dominating our screens on October 21.
