Jason Long is quickly working his way up the ranks of thesps after co-starring in the likes of Dodgeball and graduating to leading parts such as the soon-to-be-in-cinemas Accepted.
He’s also signed on to the indie comedy drama Patriotville. Writer-director Talmage Cooley’s tale finds a small town decide to build an Indian casino on the site of its historic battlefield. Horrified local Chase Revere (Long) decides that his town’s heritage is something that must be protected and joins forces with weird-but-loveable fellow history buff Lucy Shanks to try and stop the project. But he finds himself at odds with the rest of the town, who are ready to welcome the casino as a possible saviour for their dying community. Cooley kicks off his shooting schedule next month in South Carolina.
