Last week, Paul WS Anderson announced the cast for his 3D take on The Three Musketeers. Now, he’s crowned his queen: Juno Temple.
The Hollywood Reporter has it that British actress is in talks to play the royal character in the film, which would see her appear alongside Logan Lerman, Ray Stevenson, Luke Evans, Matthew Macfadyen, Christoph Waltz, Mads Mikkelsen and, of course, the director’s walking good luck charm/better half, Milla Jovovich.
Anderson is aiming to get his version of the tale before cameras ahead of Warners, which has Doug Liman and the Sherlock Holmes producing team cranking away on their own sword-swinging adventure.
You might have seen Temple in the likes of Atonement, The Other Boleyn Girl and Year One, though she’s more recently appeared in Greenberg alongside Ben Stiller. And should she lock in Musketeers, it’ll be a reunion with Jovovich, who she’s just worked with on Dirty Girl.
