With Emily Blunt about to go back to A Quiet Place for Part II, rest assured noise fans: it looks like she’ll be in plenty of loud places this summer thanks to Disney’s Jungle Cruise (or, Disney’s Jungle Cruise, which seems to be the official title). Based on the Disney theme park ride, this one’s a big splashy blockbuster that sees Blunt team up with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson for an aquatic adventure in the Amazon. There are curses, there are critters, there’s a cruise – watch the new trailer below.

If the official title is Jungle Cruise, it could easily be dubbed Raiders Of The African Queen Of The Caribbean: Welcome To The Jungle. There’s a good whack of Pirates DNA in there (those crusty-faced baddies), a dollop of the recent Jumanji movies, tons of snakes (why’d it have to be snakes?), a glowy tree right out of Avatar bearing glowy purple plants right out of Black Panther, and a leading duo dynamic akin to the Rachel Weisz-Brendan Fraser pairing of Stephen Sommers' The Mummy – plus Jesse Plemons doing an accent that science cannot quite pin down (is it Irish, or could it be South African?). But it looks like big colourful fun, with Blunt and Johnson on all-out charm mode. And did you see The Rock’s tiny hat?

This one comes from Jaume Collet-Serra, who last presented water-bound adventures in shark flick The Shallows. He evidently clicked with Johnson, with the pair now teaming up again to shoot Shazam! villain spin-off Black Adam. Also starring in the film are Jack Whitehall, Paul Giamatti, and Edgar Ramirez. Assuming all future film release dates, er, go to plan, this one will be coming into UK ports on 24 July.
