The reports of Planet Terror’s death have been greatly exaggerated. Rumours were flying earlier this year that Robert Rodriguez’ half of the exploit-a-thon Grind House he’s creating with Quentin Tarantino had been shut down due to budget worries.
Looks like the trouble – if there was any in the first place – is behind it. The Spy Kids director has cast Freddie Rodriguez (no relation), Rose McGowan and Josh Brolin in the 60-minute zombie horror. They’re joining Marley Shelton, Michael Biehn, Jeff Fahey, Michael Parks and Black Eyed Peas warbler Stacy “Fergie” Ferguson.
