With Robert Pattinson in place as his Bruce Wayne, War For The Planet Of The Apes director Matt Reeves is building out the rest of the cast for The Batman. And his current aim is to have Jonah Hill play a villain.

While the mind might immediately leap to The Penguin, there's no confirmation yet as to what Hill might play, especially sinceColliderhas heard he'll be The Riddler. And that assumes he locks in a deal, as Deadline reports that it's not yet a done thing.

And according to Variety, that's not the only intriguing piece of casting, as Jeffrey Wright is looking to make a deal to be Commissioner Gordon, which sounds like a good fit to us.

Exact plot details for Reeves' new Bat-film remain locked in the Batcave for now, but it'll see a younger Caped Crusader dealing with crime in Gotham City. The cameras should be rolling later this year or earlier next, as Warner Bros. has a June 2021 release date on the books.
