As if the line-up for Zack Snyder's new '50s action fantasy **Sucker Punch **couldn't get any more gorgeous, they go and cast slick star of the moment, Mad Men's Jon Hamm to play a character called High Roller.

He joins a full house of girls including Emily Browning (who piqued interest in Lemony Snicket's A Series Of Unfortunate Events), the ubiquitous Vanessa Hudgens, upcoming Sorority Row's Jamie Chung, Pride & Prejudice's Jena Malone, Abbie Cornish and the insanely elegant Carla Gugino.

The girls form a band of asylum patients who enter an alternate reality to attempt an escape before Browning's character Baby Doll is lobotomized at the say-so of her evil stepfather.

Hamm is a man is in high demand, with two films in production simultaneously this Autumn. Alongside Sucker Punch, he will also join Ben Affleck's as he directs and stars in crime thriller** The Town**.
