Though he’s worked on the pilot for upcoming TV series Revolution and has been spending time acting as producer on the set of Iron Man 3, Jon Favreau seems to be enjoying a brief break from film directing to squeeze in acting projects. He’ll next crop up in a role for Martin Scorsese in The Wolf Of Wall Street.

Scorsese’s latest, based on Jordan Belfort’s memoirs of a high life and deep problems working as a Wall Street stockbroker, features Leonardo DiCaprio and Jonah Hill in the lead roles.

Favreau is on board to play a securities lawyer in the film, which also boasts Jon Bernthal, Jean Dujardin, Kyle Chandler, Rob Reiner and Margot Robbie on the cast list.

Once that is complete, Favreau will start gearing up to make Jersey Boys, based on the musical of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. He’s also appearing in Identity Thief with Jason Bateman, and part of his stint on Iron Man 3 was reprising his role as Happy Hogan, who this time has quit working for Tony Stark but will likely still try to help him when needed. What a nice guy.
