He's proved he knows a thing or two about filming people beating each other up and otherwise finding ways to hurt each other on screen. So John Wick co-director Chad Stahelski feels like the right man to adapt Ed Brubaker's Kill Or Be Killed comic.

The story finds a depressed college student attempting suicide, who is somehow saved by weird events. As it turns out, his life was spared by a demon, who informs him there's a terrible price: either he kills one person a month or he himself will die. Which seems like a strange offer for someone who was already trying to kill themselves, but who knows with demons?

Dan Casey is aboard to adapt the comic, which Sean Phillips illustrates for Image. And John Wick's Basil Iwanyk will also produce this movie. Stahelski is currently busy in pre-production on a third Wick entry, which will see Keanu Reeves back in the title role.
