It’s based on a Rolling Stone article about real-life story of Idaho teenagers who hatched a plan to create a multi-million dollar marijuana ring.
"I had been looking to do something in this realm that didn't involve minorities or urban drug dealers. These were all white, suburban kids with no criminal records," Stockwell told Variety. "They managed to transform themselves from minimum-wage workers to drug lords." Sounds like stoner heaven.
