Things are changing behind the camera for Voltage Pictures’ slowly gestating action thriller** I.T.** Though Pierce Brosnan remains attached to the lead, A Good Day To Die Hard**’s John Moore is taking over the director’s job, while William Wisher Jr. will tackle a new draft of the script.

The film, which originated with producer David T. Friendly and at one point had Dan Kay on script duty and Stefano Sollima set to direct, should see Brosnan as a successful book publisher who somehow manages to annoy a young, disgruntled I.T. consultant. Naturally, because his nemesis is tech savvy, he decides to threaten Brosnan’s life, family and income. We’re guessing there will be even more references to the Cloud than in Sex Tape. But hopefully less erotic gurning.

With Moore and Wisher aboard, the producers are still looking for someone to play Brosnan’s technically-inclined nemesis and are preparing to sell the rights at the Toronto Film Festival. Moore is also developing another action thriller, The Englishman, and a film based on the Ice Road Truckers reality show, both of which, not-so-coincidentally, feature scripts by Wisher.
