Because it’s a sprawling tale of love across decades, Mike Newell naturally needs a large cast for his previously announced adaptation of Love In The Time Of Cholera.
He already has Javier Bardem, Benjamin Bratt and Giovanna Mezzogiorno. Now he’s added Hector Elizondo, John Leguizamo and Fernanda Montenegro.
With a script by Pianist writer Ron Harwood, Newel’s next starts filming early next month, at locations in Cartagena in Columbia and London.
