Even though it looks like he’ll only be making a brief appearance in the film, we’re always glad to hear that John Goodman has signed on to something. So count us pleased that he’s agreed to a cameo role in Shawn Levy’s new comedy, The Internship.
The film finds Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson as two old-school sales men who discover that their ways are simply no longer relevant in the fast-moving digital world. So they decide that what they need is a little reinvention, figuring that they can score positions as interns at a big technology company. Despite, that is, not knowing much of anything about the stuff...
Goodman is not the only new recruit for the film, as US comedian / actor Eric Andre is also aboard, signing on to play an advisor who mentors Vaughn and Wilson.
With Rose Byrne, JoAnna Garcia, Max Minghella, Aasif Mandvi, Jessica Szohr and Dylan O’Brien also in the cast, Levy is shooting right now, aiming to have the movie in cinemas next year.
