William Castle is getting a Dark Castle makeover as Joel Silver takes on his classic 1965 film I Saw What You Did and I Know What You Are!, for a remake.

The prank call thriller originally starred Joan Crawford, and saw a pair of teen girls get into a whole heap of doo-doo when they phone a guy guilty of just what they are joking about.

Silver's project which will be more simply titled I Saw What You Did, is not to be confused with fellow chiller, teen slasher I Know What You Did Last Summer. The script has been penned by **My Bloody Valentine 3-D **duo Todd Farmer and Patrick Lussier, the latter of whom will also direct.

Dark Castle's debut production was another william Castle reboot - 1999's House on Haunted Hill starring Geoffrey Rush and Famke Janssen.

So, will **I Saw What You Did **be just another Disturbia? And are there any other William Castle classics ripe for a remake?
