We’ve previously reported that Hotel Rwanda filmmaker Terry George will follow it with hit-and-run drama Reservation Road.
Now Joaquin Phoenix and Mark Ruffalo have signed on to star as the fathers involved in the accident. Phoenix’ son dies in the accident, which was Ruffalo’s fault – but he drives away. The grieving father plots revenge, but the tragedy takes its toll on both families.
John Burnham Schwartz has adapted the script from his own book and George (who polished the screenplay) will kick off production in the next couple of months.
