The most recent entry for the Saw horror series was Saw 3D in 2010, and you might be forgiven for thinking that represented the last gasp of the torture-focused terror pics. Nope! Looking to find some fresh, er, blood, is Jigsaw, which has a new poster online.
Picking up more than a decade since the apparent death of John Kramer, the Jigsaw Killer (Tobin Bell), a new series of gruesome murders seem to be taken right from his violent bag of tricks.
But if he's dead, is this a copy cat? That's what the police will have to figure out. And it's probably also on the mind of the new victims caught in the cruel traps that would also seem to point to Mr. J not being quite as dead as he seemed...
The likes of Laura Vandervoort, Brittany Allen, Callum Keith Rennie and Matt Passmore are ready to scream or fight for their lives (or both) in this one, directed by sibling filmmaking duo Michael and Peter Spierig. It all kicks off on 26 October, and a selection of pics is below.
