Supercool martial artist Jet Li may be turning down his much talked about role in the upcoming Matrix sequels and Michelle Yeoh looks set to fill the space. According to Variety, Li has become disgruntled as the rapidly spiralling budget needed to churn out the two sequels back-to-back has left no money to accommodate the grand salary that the Chinese-born action star can now command. Having supposedly been offered $3 million for an 11 month shoot on the two films, Li would be taking a significant pay cut given his rising status and is reported to have been offered $9.5 million to star in James Wong
