Following a couple of Hollywood / Chinese co-productions in The Mummy 3 and T****he Forbidden Kingdom, and his role in Stallone's all-American The Expendables, Jet Li is returning to China for his next project Ocean Paradise. So say The Hollywood Reporter{ =nofollow}.

He'll be working with Xue Xiao-lu, who's making his directorial debut after previously writing films for the likes of Chen Kaige. Li's only confirmed co-star so far is Kwai Lun-mei, who was in Secret a couple of years ago, with recently-announced Kato Jay Chou.

No details have yet come through about the plot, although there are conflicting reports about whether or not it's an action film, and whether or not Li will be fighting in it. We'll tell you more as soon as we hear.
