Jumping on the musical bandwagon what was Mama Mia!, High School Musical and Steven Soderbergh's musical Cleo, Andrew Lloyd Webber has flicked through his back-catalogue and decided that Jesus Christ Superstar is due for a do-over.
Lined up for the job of taking the helm, is none other than man of the moment (500) Days of Summer director Marc Webb. Giving the '70s classic a new lease of life, and possibly a brand new haircut, the rock opera should bring a whole new demographic to the cinema.
