Fresh from winning an Oscar and charming the hell out of the world in various interviews, Jennifer Lawrence is taking her career to the next level by adding 'producer' to her CV for T**he Rules Of Inheritance.

Susanne Bier is directing the film from Shame writer Abi Morgan’s script, which itself is based on Claire Bidwell Smith’s memoir.

The plot will follow a young woman (Lawrence), who loses both parents to cancer as a young adult. Shocked to be left alone at a vulnerable age, she heads out on a journey of self-discovery and learns a few important things about herself.

Rules marks a reunion for Bier and Lawrence, as the pair have just worked together on depression-era drama Serena.

And Lawrence has been busy this year – she’s filmed the Hunger Games sequel Catching Fire, worked on Serena,** The Devil You Know** and David O. Russell’s latest, American Hustle. She’s also making a return as Mystique for Bryan Singer’s latest trip to the Marvel movie universe with X-Men: Days Of Future Past.
