Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s in demand again, signing on to Ami Canaan Mann’s murder mystery The Fields to star alongside Sam Worthington.
Worthington’s playing a Texas detective investigating murders in the industrial areas around the refineries with as many as 70 victims buried in the area.
Morgan, meanwhile, is a cop who arrives from New York to help with the case. The two end up having to work together to save the life of a street kid and track down the unknown killers responsible for the murder spree.
With Dad Michael Mann as a co-producer, Mann will kick off shooting in early April around Louisiana.
