Jason Segel and Christopher Guest regular John Michael Higgins have joined the cast of Cameron Diaz’ new comedy Bad Teacher.
Jake Kasdan is directing the film, which finds a trashy, gold-digging educator (Diaz) on the hunt for a new sugar daddy after being dumped by her boyfriend. She decides to snatch the perfect male teacher who is currently dating one of her colleagues (Lucy Punch).
Neither Higgins nor Segel are that model employee – Higgins is playing headmaster Wally Snur and Segel will be the gym teacher.
With a script by Year One writers Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky (let’s hope this one is better), it’ll start shooting next month in LA.
