Rounding out a cast with a good claim to be the best-looking ever assembled, Jason Patric will be playing a bad guy in The Losers, based on the DC / Vertigo comic-book. We are assured, however, that Patric will "not be there to chew scenery", as so many antagonists are.
He'll play Max, a Keyser Soze-like mastermind CIA agent who goes off the reservation and sets up the titular team of Special Forces operatives to be wiped out. They, understandably, feel somewhat agrieved and go to war against the CIA as a result.
Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Zoe Saldana, Chris Evans (no, not that one), Columbus Short and Idris Elba also star (we told you this cast was good lookin'). They play, respectively, Clay, Aisha, Jensen, Pooch and Roque, if you've read the comics. Sylvain White is directing, with a script by Peter Berg and James Vanderbilt.
This will be Patric's first comic-book movie, and first all-out villain role, so best of luck to the erstwhile Lost Boy as he takes his first steps into a geekier world.
